![]() ![]() If anyone has advice or a workflow for this scenario I'd love to hear about it. I wish there was a little utility that could quickly allow logging in and out of OneDrive accounts. I also wouldn't mind the kids just changing the OneDrive account to their own (without changing the user account), but it is a tedious process the way OneDrive makes you go into the settings to add and remove accounts. I've done a lot of research and can't seem to find a solution. I need to be able to lock folders, so they can't be rename or moved, but still allow the students to read and write to the folders. except when a kid accidentally drags a folder across the screen and relocates it to "somewhere unknown" and I have to hunt for it or revert to a backup. Do note that if you lose or forget the password, it cannot be reset or recovered. I've also shared the student subfolders with each student so they can access their own folder from home. Add a password to encrypt the contents of this file and hit OK at the bottom. Each class has a folder, and every student in the class has a subfolder. In OneDrive I've shared folders with ComputerLabUser so the shared folders are accessible on all lab computers. Next, browse to the right menu to choose Lock File(s) or Lock Folder, depending on your own needs. To password protect OneDrive files or folder, navigate to the Local Disk section and click Locking File. If the kids (about 150 of them) that rotate through logged in with their own account every time it would create a software registration nightmare. Follow simple steps to lock OneDrive folder/files: Step 1. The programs use a variety of registration schemes, so I keep them all logged in as the same user named ComputerLabUser. ![]() The computers have many different programs, CAD, CAM, Graphics, Arduino, and more. Hi, I'm setting up a high school computer lab. ![]()
